The worker’s compensation CLE event of the year is here! Join us for the 2024 Workers’ Compensation Bench Bar Conference as esteemed judges and respected colleagues delve into the topics that will help you better represent your clients into 2025.

The conference will feature opening remarks by Director and Chief Judge of the Division of Workers’ Compensation Maria Del Valle-Koch. The judge will focus on the current state of the division and updated information that attorneys, clients, litigants and judges can expect moving forward.

Then, join your colleagues and friends for some exciting, timely topics. This includes:

  • An impactful segment on radiculopathy by Shelly Rishti. Otherwise known as “pinched nerve,” radiculopathy is caused by injury or damage to nerve roots in the area where they leave the spine. The condition is the result of disc degeneration, disc herniation or other trauma. Find out what you need to know to better serve your clients.
  • The esteemed Mark Zirulnik will be joined on his annual legislative update by Sen. Joseph P. Cryan, who will provide his insights into current and pending legislation that will impact your practice.
  • It is never too early to plan for the future! There will be a timely ethics segment on succession planning for your practice, which may help save your family or close colleagues from the heartache of having to close your practice and disperse your files after you are gone.
  • You will also hear the latest on temporary partial disability and receive an important case law update from Richard Rubenstein.
  • Do you know the top five answers on the board? Are you ready to press your luck? The day will wrap with a fun, lively workers’ compensation game show!
  • Of course, the day will include a networking lunch and awards for the Workers’ Compensation Practitioners of the Year!

Registration and breakfast begin at 8:15 a.m.
