All are welcome to attend the New Jersey State Bar Association’s annual Pro Bono Awards, dedicated to attorneys who show outstanding commitment to providing legal services to the state’s underserved residents. The awards will honor six individuals, firms and corporate legal departments who have gone above and beyond in their volunteerism to ensure fair representation under the law.

 

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients:

 

  • Champion of Justice Award: Recognizing an individual attorney from a solo or small firm, a medium-sized firm and a large firm – Reymond E. Yammine
  • Pillar of Justice Award: Recognizing significant and innovative pro bono contributions of law firms toward advancing access to justice – Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP
  • Distinguished Attorney Award: Recognizing an attorney in practice for 10 years or less – Michael A. Conforti
  • Lifetime Advancement of Pro Bono Service Award: Recognizing an attorney in practice for 25 years or more – Diane K. Smith
  • Mark Daniel Excellence in Pro Bono Award: This award recognizes exemplary pro bono efforts of corporate legal departments – JPMorgan Chase
  • Outstanding Law Student Award: The award recognizes a law student who has excelled in supporting pro bono or legal aid programs for underserved communities – Kayalyn Kibbe

The ceremony will include dinner and remarks by each of the award winners. Join us in celebrating these remarkable attorneys for their tireless devotion to a greater cause.
