Serve as a Neutral Arbitrator in New Jersey’s No-Fault Arbitration Program
Forthright, a global provider of process design, automation and dispute resolution solutions, is seeking qualified individuals to join its distinguished panel of attorney-arbitrators administering New Jersey’s No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) arbitration program. This independent contractor role offers a unique opportunity to apply your legal expertise in a quasi-judicial capacity, contribute to the fair resolution of disputes, and serve the public while enjoying schedule flexibility and professional independence.
What our Arbitrators Do:
-Conduct hearings.
-Evaluate submissions and testimony impartially.
-Issue written arbitration awards in compliance with statutory timelines.

-Ability to maintain neutrality and independence; no conflicts with insurers, claimants, or counsel appearing frequently in PIP matters.
-Availability to conduct hearings and issue awards within required timelines.Must possess one of the following qualifications:
-Be an attorney licensed to practice in New Jersey with at least 10 years of experience in cases involving personal injury or workers’ compensation. or
-Be a former judge of the Superior Court or the Workers’ Compensation Court, or a former Administrative Law Judge. or
-Any other person, qualified by education and at least 10 years’ experience, with sufficient understanding of automobile insurance claims and practices, contract law, and judicial or alternate dispute resolution practices and procedures.Preferred Qualifications:
-Judicial, quasi-judicial, or arbitration/ADR experience.
-Familiarity with insurance, no-fault law, or medical claims.
-Demonstrated writing ability.Conflicts/Restrictions: Commitment to recusal protocols if conflicts arise.
