This meeting will be in person for those able to make it to the Law Center in New Brunswick. There will be a virtual option if you are not able to attend in-person.
Our goal for this session is to agree on our primary objectives for 2026 “now”, so we have a clear roadmap to hit our targets by year-end.
In addition, we want to determine our Council composition and identify volunteers to lead the exciting initiatives we have planned.

I. Opening & 2026 Vision
- Goal Setting: Establishing our 2026 objectives now to ensure measurable impact by year-end.
- Council Composition: Assessing current membership and identifying recruitment needs.
- Call for Leads: Identifying volunteers to take ownership of specific initiatives and committees.
II. 2026 Programming & Events
- March Event: New Business/Marketing (Status Update).
- Career Transitions Panel (Date TBD): Focused on pivoting between Public/Private practice, In-House, and the Business side.
- Technology Advancement: Integrating the latest tech advancements into the legal practice.
- Target: Finalize a commitment to at least three marquee events for the year.
III. Outreach & Partnerships
- Law Schools: Developing a plan to engage Rutgers and Seton Hall career offices.
- Internal Groups: Coordinating joint panels or programs with:
- Young Lawyers Division (YLD)
- Women’s Group
- Goal: Secure more than one collaborative program with each group.
IV. Operational Schedule
- Monthly Cadence: Implementation of monthly meetings to progress topics.
- Quarterly In-Person: Commitment to at least one face-to-face meeting per quarter.
V. New Business
- Open floor for additional proposals or member feedback.
