NJSBA Meeting Registration Cancellation Policy

• All requests for refunds must be in writing.
• For a full refund of registration fees, requests must be received on or or before April. 10
• A $50 service fee will be deducted from each registration fee for refund requests received from April 11 through April 24.
• If a refund request is received from April 25 through May 8, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
• Requests for refunds after May 8, will not be honored. Refunds will not be processed before June 3.

Photographs

All NJSBA Event attendees acknowledge they may be photographed by the NJSBA. They agree that such photographs will be the sole property of the NJSBA, and they consent to the NJSBA’s unrestricted use of their name, portrait, photograph, and other likeness in any and all commercial, promotional, and advertising material without any monetary compensation.

Contact Information

I understand this NJSBA Event is supported by various sponsors who may want to share information with attendees about products or services for legal professionals. I give permission to the NJSBA to share my name and email address with the NJSBA Event sponsors, unless I have checked the box at the bottom of this form opting out of sharing my information.

Attendee Directory

I understand, as an attendee, my name will be included in the NJSBA digital event guide attendee directory for this NJSBA Event, but not my contact information. I also understand I may opt out at any time using the digital event guide settings.

Disclaimer/Release

NJSBA is pleased to facilitate the voluntary participation of the NJSBA Event attendees, including hotel arrangements, social events, and the ability to participate in tour activities with other meeting attendees. NJSBA is coordinating with third-party providers to offer these services/activities; NJSBA is not offering them directly. NJSBA takes no responsibility for the conduct of these providers and makes no representations about the hotel, the accommodations, or any tour or other activities offered to attendees.

By registering for the NJSBA Event, attendees accept full responsibility for their attendance at the event, their accommodations, and their participation in any activities offered to attendees, including responsibility for any risks involved. • Any rooms reserved within the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) room block are subject to a cancellation fee charged by the NJSBA of up to 100% of the booking for any cancellation after December 23, 2025.
• For a full event refund, requests must be received on or before Feb. 13
• If an event registration refund request is received between Feb. 14 and Feb. 28, 50 percent of the registration fee will be refunded.
• Requests for event registration refunds received on or after Feb. 28 will not be honored.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Any rooms reserved within the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) room block are subject to a cancellation fee charged by the NJSBA of up to 100% of the booking for any cancellation after December 23, 2025. The policy is applicable to the hotel’s group room rate offering and is imposed on the NJSBA as the sponsor of the group rooms. It supersedes the hotel’s individual guest cancellation policy.

For protection against an unforeseen need to cancel, consider purchasing travel insurance. • If a refund request is received between August 7, 2026 and September 25, 2026, 50 percent of the registration fee will be refunded.
• Requests for refunds after September 27, 2026 will not be honored.
• Refunds will be processed on or about November 3.
