NJSBA Comments on Rule Changes for Pretrial Release

The NJSBA submitted comments on proposed amendments to Rule 3:26-2 that would establish a review process for a defendant’s compliance with pretrial release conditions and clarify the time frame and procedure for handling violations of monitoring. The Association supported the goals of the proposed amendments and suggested additional changes. Read the full letter .
