NEW BRUNSWICK – In a case that focuses on how drug recognition experts evidence is used, the NJSBA asked the New Jersey Supreme Court to grant it friend-of-the-court status in State v. Michael Olenowski.

The matter centers on whether testimony that a defendant was under the influence of narcotics while driving is admissible under the Frye standard.
