Capitol Report: NJSBA Requests Stay of Opinion 745 Banning Referral Fees to Out-of-State Attorneys

The NJSBA has requested a stay of the Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics opinion banning referral fees to out-of-state attorneys, arguing that the decision has upended a decades-long interpretation of the rule governing the ability of certified trial attorneys to pay such fees. the latest in this week’s Capitol Report.
