Job Description:

The Law Office of Lawrence M. Centanni, P.C. is a growing New Jersey law office focused on real estate transactions, landlord-tenant litigation, commercial disputes, and related business matters. We represent property owners, investors, landlords, and business operators throughout New Jersey.
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Associate Attorney who can independently manage files, meet strict internal deadlines, and confidently handle court appearances.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone ready to take ownership.
Position Overview
The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload involving:
• Residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Landlord-tenant litigation (plaintiff and defense)
• Commercial litigation matters
• Contract drafting and review
• Municipal and code-related matters
The right candidate must be capable of handling files from intake through resolution with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of New Jersey legal experience
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey (required)
• Strong drafting skills (complaints, motions, discovery, contracts)
• Courtroom experience in NJ Superior Court and Special Civil Part
• Real estate transactional experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage deadlines without reminders
• Strong communication and client-management skills
