About the Job
Ross & Calandrillo is a litigation-focused family law firm seeking an attorney who wants to practice law: Meeting with clients, developing strategy, and advocating in court. This position is ideal for attorneys who want to take ownership of their cases, develop strong courtroom skills, and grow into confident litigators. This is not a back-office drafting role. Our attorneys work directly with clients, collaborate on litigation strategy, and appear in court regularly. If you want meaningful courtroom experience while working with a collaborative team, we would love to meet you.Responsibilities
• Work with attorneys to manage contested family law matters from start to finish
• Draft motions, certifications, and legal memoranda
• Appear in court for conferences, motion arguments, and hearings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Collaborate with attorneys on litigation and settlement strategyQualifications
• 1–5 years of legal experience (family law experience preferred)
• Comfortable appearing in court, or motivated to develop that skill
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work independently while also working collaboratively with a team
• Curious, thoughtful, and eager to grow as a litigatorOur Culture
