Court upholds NJSBA amicus position in prospective juror open-ended questions matter

NEW BRUNSWICK – An Appellate Division panel affirmed that a trial judge must ask open-ended questions of jurors. The NJSBA was an amicus party in Heredia v Piccininni and said open-ended questions were a vital part of jury selection. Read the decision here. Read the NJSBA brief here.
