New Attorney Day
Jan. 20 and March 2, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Starting Jan. 1, new attorneys will be required to complete 16 CLE credits across six of 12 subject areas. Join the NJSBA’s New Attorney Day to meet those requirements in one convenient day. The program offers a chance to learn from veterans in the field about how to launch a successful practice and get strategies that can be put to work right away.

Diversity Summit: Repeating, Rebounding and Breaking Through: The Future of DEI in the Legal Profession

Family Law Symposium
Jan. 26-27
The annual Family Law Symposium returns to the Hyatt in New Brunswick, where hundreds of family law attorneys, judges, paralegals and other professionals will convene for New Jersey’s premier family law event.
NJSBA Bowling Networking Tournament
Feb. 8, 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

What Helped When You Fell Apart?
Feb. 19, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Join the NJSBA on President’s Day for lessons on wellness from leaders in the law. The event is a collaboration by the NJSBA’s Lawyer’s Well-Being Committee and the Women in the Profession Section that will strengthen and inspire you personally and professionally.
Minorities in the Profession Section Black History Month Celebration
Feb. 22 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The Minorities in the Profession Section of the NJSBA will host its annual Black History Month Celebration featuring musical performances, an art exhibit and winners from a New Jersey high school essay contest.
Solo and Small-Firm Conference
Feb. 24, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
A must-attend conference for those in solo and small firms, the event is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and learn strategies and tactics to address the unique challenges these attorneys face. It will also feature advice from experts and peers about running an effective, efficient and sustainable practice.
Family Law Retreat
March 20 – 24
Join the Family Law Section in Costa Rica to explore the pura vida lifestyle, stunning biodiversity and natural beauty of the island country. The trip promises a rich educational and cultural experience and a chance to connect with family law colleagues.
Annual Meeting and Convention
May 15 – 17
The NJSBA will return to Atlantic City for its Annual Meeting and Convention, the largest gathering of legal professionals in New Jersey. Thousands of judges, lawyers, law clerks and law students are expected to attend the three-day educational and networking event, held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
