The Nominating Committee will interview candidates on Jan. 26, 28 and 29. All deliberations are confidential. To read more about the process, review the NJSBA bylaws here, and the NJSBA's policies and procedures here.
Following the interviews and deliberations, the Nominating Committee will issue a report to the NJSBA Board of Trustees on a slate of candidates. The board will vote on the committee’s recommendations. If someone decides to contest a candidate, a vote of the members determines the winner.
Members of the Association may view a recording of candidate interviews by submitting a request to [email protected], which should include the names of those candidates whose interviews are being sought.
Successful candidates will take their posts in May. The questionnaires completed by each candidate are available for review here. (login required)
