Implementing AI for Quality in Construction Law Practice
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming legal practice, particularly in construction law where large volumes of documents, depositions, and contracts must be analyzed with precision and speed. This program will introduce attorneys to practical AI workflows that enhance quality, efficiency, and accuracy in construction-related cases.
Through live demonstrations and interactive “performance” examples, participants will see how AI tools can be used to:
- Review and summarize deposition transcripts
- Conduct mock depositions and assist with witness preparation
- Analyze complex construction contracts and project documentation
- Build custom AI tools (e.g., GPTs) tailored to legal workflows
The program will balance “wow-factor” demonstrations with a critical discussion of professional responsibility, ethical use, and quality control. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge of how AI can be responsibly integrated into construction law practice to improve client service and risk management.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify AI tools and workflows that can enhance efficiency in construction law practice.
- Demonstrate how AI can assist with deposition review, preparation, and case analysis.
- Evaluate ethical and professional responsibility considerations when implementing AI.
- Apply quality assurance principles to ensure AI-generated outputs are reliable and legally sound.
- Recognize opportunities to use AI for client communication, case strategy, and litigation support.
- Learn how to create a virtual assistant.
