Framing Construction Contracts Through a Risk-Allocation Lens
For construction lawyers, contract drafting is where projects are won or lost long before ground is broken. A successful construction project, one that finishes on time, within budget, and without defects, depends heavily on how risk, responsibility, and remedies are allocated in the contract. The clearer and more internally consistent the agreement, the fewer downstream disputes over scope, cost, schedule, and liability.
This presentation highlights the top seven clauses construction counsel should scrutinize most closely to protect their client’s interests and position the project for success from day one.
