An Empowering and Practical Perspective to Your Law Practice

This Fourth of July, take a step back from the daily grind of a results-driven practice i.e. billables, verdicts, settlements, and the constant pressure of a moving goal line. There is another perspective that treats your work not just as a means to an end, but as a contribution to the American experiment with freedom, where independent judgment, character and responsibility are part of the job description.

In fact, lawyers who make this transition will gain something the scoreboard alone cannot provide: greater professional satisfaction, resilience, and often stronger, more sustainable success.

Join us for a brief, focused presentation on what it means to move from the daily grind of a “scoreboard” to a more fulfilling stewardship of American legal jurisprudence that will benefit both you and your clients. It may be the most impactful shift you can make in your career.

About Roy Curnow
Roy Curnow has been practicing law for almost 50 years and for the last twenty-five he has run his own successful practice. He has tried about 200 jury trials to verdict and has been a certified civil trial attorney for over 30 years. He has argued numerous cases before the App. Div and Supreme Court of New Jersey. He developed the “Scoreboard to Stewardship” method of practicing law and found it greatly reduced the stress and anxiety commensurate with a litigation practice. He is hopeful that the technique will do the same for other attorneys, and allow them to find or regain the joy in the practice of law.
