Carol Johnston, Esq.
Former Counsel To the Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics
Carol Johnston Ethics Law, Princeton

The ethics rules and regulations for attorney advertising are different in New Jersey than in New York. If you are licensed in both states or primarily practice in New York but are considering a New Jersey practice, you can’t afford to miss this program. Carol Johnston, an attorney who for 19 years answered the New Jersey Judiciary Attorney Ethics hotline, served as staff and counsel to the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Attorney Advertising and the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics, will discuss the New Jersey attorney advertising rules. She will review what you can and cannot do to market yourself and your practice.

This program offers a timely, practical guide to understanding the boundaries of ethical promotion. Whether you’re a solo practitioner or part of a firm, this session will walk you through the latest updates to the Rules of Professional Conduct, highlight real-world examples, and offer actionable insights into what’s allowed, and what’s not. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how to market your practice without crossing ethical lines.

Important:
This program offers New York (NY) credit only. No Pennsylvania (PA) or New Jersey (NJ) credit will be provided.
