Nov. 6 | 10 – 11:15 a.m. | Mozart

PFAS substances – also called “forever chemicals”– are a buzzy term. But what do they mean and what do lawyers need to know? Join us to learn more about these manmade substances that are desired for their ability to repel water and oil and contain fuel fires, and were commonly used in products like Teflon® and Scotchgard®. Hear from an experienced panel of New Jersey attorneys who can discuss the regulations surrounding these chemicals that have proven highly resistant to environmental degradation and are associated with serious adverse health effects such as decreased vaccine response. Join us to learn what is happening on the front lines of this vanguard issue from a defense attorney, a plaintiff’s lawyer and an expert in municipal issues.
