Judiciary Releases Guidelines on Artificial Intelligence Use by New Jersey Attorneys

Read the state Supreme Court’s latest guidelines on how attorneys can navigate their ethical responsibilities to clients with the emergence of AI technology in the practice of law. The guidelines address the anticipated effects of AI on legal practice, the duties of lawyers who use AI and the technology’s capacities, limits and risks. The Judiciary also released a Statement of Principles regarding the integration of AI technologies in New Jersey courts. View the statement
