The NJSBA submitted comments on proposed amendments to the Court Rules governing Family Part mediations and juvenile referees. In a letter, the Association called for court staff mediators and judicial law clerks to have the same qualifications and training requirements as other mediators. The NJSBA also asked the Judiciary to note the distinction between consent and mediation conferences for parties involved. Read the full letter here.
