A former New Jersey State Bar Association trustee was sworn in as the organization’s second vice president last night.
Domenick Carmagnola, whose firm is in Morristown, is on track to become president of the state’s leading group for lawyers, judges and legal professionals in 2021.
Carmagnola said it has been an honor to be a part of the leadership of an organization that has provided him so many opportunities.
“I look forward to another rewarding year of service on behalf of the NJSBA's members. I am grateful for the many tremendous opportunities the NJSBA has provided to me during my legal career, and for the friendships I have established through it. It is an honor to have a chance to now serve this association that has served my career so well,” he said
Carmagnola is a certified civil trial attorney, and concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, representing management and individual defendants in both the private and public sector. He has written numerous articles, contributed to several books, and is a frequent lecturer on labor and employment law matters and litigation.
His involvement in the NJSBA is extensive. He has previously served as Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Chair of its Labor and Employment Law Section and Editor of the section’s quarterly newsletter. In addition to his NJSBA involvement, he is a former president of the Essex County Bar Association and the Sidney Reitman Labor and Employment Law American Inn of Court.
He lives in Denville with his wife, Gabriella, and two sons, Christopher and Michael.
