There are 564 municipalities in New Jersey. Some are large, some are small, but all face multiple challenges in planning their futures. There are complex issues to consider as they do, including planning for growth, housing, and business trends, improving infrastructure, and addressing contamination. With our thought-provoking program, some of New Jersey’s most distinguished municipal attorneys will discuss issues of vital interest to municipalities and provide practice advice on how they can meet current and future planning challenges

Topics include:

• Recent caselaw impact municipalities and hot issues in municipal land use
- Dennis Galvin, Esq.
• Affordable housing - How much is being built, and is it enough to meet current and future needs? How do national trends affect the overall housing market? - Edward Buzak, Esq.
• Current municipal employment trends, including the impact of legalized cannabis use?
- Brian Chabarek, Esq.
• When and how towns can use redevelopment as a tool to improve property use, enhance community amenities, promote jobs and increase the tax base - Joseph J. Maraziti, Jr., Esq.
• Sustainability and environmental issues - Joanne Vos, Esq.
• Preserving municipal heritage through historic preservation - Andrew Brewer, Esq.
