Federal Practice Bench-Bar Symposium Returns March 31: 3/12/26 – Join dozens of New Jersey federal judges and esteemed federal practitioners for a special NJICLE event on the interplay between federal and state court procedure. This comprehensive program will provide an overview of the best practices in federal court - brief writing, scheduling and how to present your case - as told by the experts.
Call for Volunteers: Support First Responders with Legal Aid: 3/12/26 – The NJSBA’s Young Lawyers Division invites the legal community to participate in Wills for Heroes on April 11, a volunteer event where attorneys will provide free estate planning services to first responders. Training is required for first-time volunteers.
NJSBF Law Scholarship Application Portal is Open: 3/11/26 – Law students are invited to apply for one of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s law school scholarships. Applications are open to full-time law students entering their second or third year of law school in fall 2026 or part-time law students who have completed two full semesters.

Keynote speaker Christine Quinn reflected on her career journey, from serving as the first woman and first openly gay speaker of the New York City Council to becoming CEO of the city’s largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing.
