New Jersey’s Water Crisis
New Jersey’s water supply is facing growing challenges from drought, environmental change, and increasing demands on this critical resource. This program will explore whether New Jersey is facing a water crisis and what can be done to address these challenges.
The discussion, lead by Commissioner Michael Bange and Commissioner Joseph Coviello, will examine the role of water public utilities in conservation efforts, as well as practical approaches to protecting and managing the state’s water resources. Topics will include conservation strategies, infrastructure upgrades, and long-term planning, with a focus on how utilities, policymakers, and other stakeholders can work together to support a sustainable water supply for New Jersey.
Breakfast and networking will begin at 8:30 a.m., with a hot breakfast provided. The CLE presentation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a brief business meeting.
