- Cristina Carreno, Esq.
- Bramnick Rodriguez Grabas Arnold & Mangan, LLC, Scotch Plainsjoined Bramnick, Rodriguez, Grabas, Arnold & Mangan, LLC in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, in October 2017. Since joining the firm, she has gained significant experience defending individuals in removal proceedings, representing individuals seeking to obtain relief from deportation, and affirmative applications to bring immigrants into the United States through family-based visas and employment visas. She also works closely with senior attorneys in the firm’s civil litigation and criminal defense practice groups.
Ms. Carreno is Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, an organization focused on the interaction between United States immigration laws and other areas of law including family, criminal, labor and real estate. She participates in the Richard J. Hughes American Inn of Court and has been invited to lecture at the Inn and for the NJAJ Annual Meadowlands Conference and other organizations.
Ms. Carreno received her B.A. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and her J.D. from New York Law School. She served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Joseph L. Rea, J.S.C., Middlesex County.

New Jersey’s first undocumented graduate from a New Jersey law school, she concentrates her practice in immigration law, including affirmative applications, removal defense, and state and federal appellate filings.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Ms. Conde-Hernandez is Second Vice Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Immigration Law Section and has been Co-Chair of the Law Student and New Member Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association-New Jersey (AILA-NJ). She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild and the Middlesex County Bar Association. She has also served as a Trustee of Young Audiences New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania and has organized and advocated for pro-immigrant federal and state legislation, the Dream Act of 2007 and the New Jersey In-State Tuition Bill of 2013, and co-founded the New Jersey Dream Act Coalition, New Jersey’s first statewide, grassroots immigrant-youth led organization.
