2024 Dublin Tours
The NJSBA Mid-Year Meeting will feature a selection of half- and full-day tours and experiences to help our members get the most out of their visit to Dublin, Ireland. This year’s offerings, include favorites from prior visits and several new offerings. There’s something for everyone, whether you want to soak yourself in the history and culture of the Emerald Isle, explore the unique sights our event has to offer, including a vintage tea tour to get to know the city, walking tours that examine the country’s fight for freedom and immigration, as well as visits to Malahide Castle, Kilkenny, and Belfast.
All tours are subject to change or cancellation if minimum registration is not met. Save your place on these special outings today.

Discover Dublin Walking Tour
Sunday Nov. 3 and Monday Nov. 4
- 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Sunday morning tour)
- 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Sunday afternoon tour)
- 1 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Monday afternoon tour)
- Includes tour guide and admission to St Patrick’s Cathedral and Book of Kells
- $80 per person
In just under a few hours, see many of the city’s top attractions, from Grafton Street to Dublin Castle, along with a host of other important historical and cultural attractions along the way. Visit Trinity College, to see one of the oldest manuscripts in the world, the Book of Kells, learn of its origin and how it ended up in Dublin. Admission to St Patrick’s Cathedral and the Book of Kells is also included.
Vintage Tea Tour and Dublin City Tour
Sunday Nov. 3 and Monday Nov. 4

- Includes tour guide, tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes along with transfers to and from the hotel.

An unforgettable 5-star experience on board a vintage bus that will take you on a journey around Dublin. Pauline and Kitty are the names of the two afternoon tea buses, both named after the owner Karen’s grandmothers. The Vintage Tea Tours welcome everyone into their home for tea and cakes, whether you are the postman or the Pope! You will experience a sense of nostalgia while experiencing your delicious afternoon tea on a beautiful vintage bus while visiting the sights and historical landmarks of Dublin’s Fair city.
Fabulous Food Trail

On this tour, guests will take a stroll through the streets of Dublin discovering the best Irish artisan food, meeting the producers, cheesemakers, and master crafters.
1916 Walking Tour of Dublin City

Lorcan Collins founded the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour and has been guiding people through the streets, stories and history of Dublin and Ireland for over a decade. He has a unique ability to explain in a concise and entertaining manner all aspects of Irish history. This tour will given attendees a dramatic insight into the sights of the revolutionary period.
EPIC Museum and Jeanie Johnston Tour
Monday Nov. 4, Wednesday Nov. 6, and Friday Nov. 8

- Includes tour guide, transfers to and from the hotel as well as a two-course lunch at Urban Brewing along with admission to Epic Museum and The Jeanie Johnston Ship

Discover the expansive Irish identity beyond Ireland’s borders at Dockland. This interactive museum shares the stories of Irish emigrants who became scientists, politicians, poets, artists, and outlaws worldwide. Uncover their remarkable achievements in music, literature, sport, politics, fashion, and science.
Visit the Jeanie Johnston which tells the story of the thousands of Irish people who fled the Famine and embarked on a treacherous voyage in the hope of a better life in North America.
Malahide Castle and Howth Village Experience

Take a beautiful drive along the North Dublin coast road to Malahide, enjoying picturesque views of Howth and the surrounding areas. Howth is a charming fishing village, with pubs, restaurants and scenic strolling spots. Nearby, you’ll find Malahide Castle, dating back to the 12th Century. It is one of Ireland’s oldest castles, featuring period furniture and a preserved medieval Great Hall. Dine at the Bloody Stream, a local and authentic gastro-pub experience.
Discover Belfast

- Includes tour guide, transfers to and from the hotel, admission to Titanic Museum, Black Taxi Tour, two-course lunch in Belfast City Centre
- $250 per person
Experience a magical day trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the Game of Thrones, the historic legacy of the Titanic and the captivating history of the city. The adventure begins with a visit to iconic filming locations for the HBO series; next pay homage at the Titanic Belfast Museum, which features an immersive experience that explores the tragic-yet-fascinating story of the iconic ship; and the afternoon will include a Black Taxi Tour of the city to hear about the gripping takes of the city’s past, its challenges and triumphs. Terms and Conditions
Cancellations: Cancellations for tours must be received no later than August 28, 2024 . All tours booked and not cancelled by August 28, 2024, are non-refundable. If the minimum number of persons required to operate a private tour is not reached, the tour is subject to cancellation or a price revision to accommodate the actual number of participants. Tours cancelled by the NJSBA will be refunded. Seats for tours are limited and bookings made after August 28, 2024, are subject to availability.
