No matter where you live in New Jersey, both Trenton and Washington DC may seem very far away. Have you ever wondered how you can influence legislation?
Join former Congressman Rob Andrews as he provides you with an insider’s guide to practical information on how to lobby effectively and in accordance with both state and federal laws. Lobbying is constitutionally protected free speech, but it is extensively regulated on both the federal and state levels by complex rules and regulations. Individuals, companies, and organizations that employ lobbyists, lobbyists themselves, and government officials, must understand the breadth and scope of these laws and regulations, as violations can lead to penalties and even jail time.
Make your voice heard! Learn how to lobby effectively.
