Capitol Report: NJSBA-Backed Child Support Bill Advances

This week’s Capitol Report shares updates on a bill that would remove provisions in the law that require the Department of Children and Families to collect child support on behalf of children. The bill, which passed through the state Senate Committee, would help ease financial pressure on parents seeking to reunify with their children, the NJSBA said in a letter. Read the full report
