DINING

The Shelbourne offers the following restaurants on property:

  • The Terrace

Savor an exceptional assortment of Laurent Perrier Champagnes, fine wines, and a cunningly assembled menu in this gorgeous al fresco sanctuary nestled in the confines of the hotel. Generous canopies help you escape the whims of the Irish weather, and the mesmerizing glow of the open fire adds a further frisson of indulgence to the already opulent atmosphere.

  • The Saddle Room

The Saddle Room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at The Shelbourne, developed over generations. Reassuringly timeless, it strikes a balance between formality and relaxation. A lavish menu inspired by the classics uses only the finest, locally sourced ingredients served with the theatre and flourish of old-school Irish service.

  • The Lord Mayor’s Lounge

Overlooking Dublin’s iconic St Stephen’s Green, this venerable drawing room has long been the location of choice for the finest Afternoon Tea in Dublin city. Here, across many generations, illustrious figures, discerning families along with locals and guests have gathered to partake in exquisite moments of refined indulgence.

Our favorite offsite restaurants include:

  • D’Olier Street

A modern, Michelin-starred fine dining experience located in the heart of Dublin City Centre. It offers a 13-course surprise tasting menu that changes seasonally, as well as wine and non-alcoholic cocktail pairings that complement each dish.

  • Fade Street Social Restaurant

The Main Restaurant at Fade Street Social, Dylan McGrath and his fantastic creative team has captured a menu designed to support the very best of homegrown produce. The food is assembled in an uncomplicated way that relies on its freshness to shine through as the real hero. It is committed to bringing to the plate all that is great from the best of Irish produce, at a time when it is important to support the value, the effort and commitment of Irish producers and farmers.

  • F.X. Buckley Steakhouse, Pembroke Street

For meat lovers, there is nothing more satisfying than tucking into a perfect steak cooked on the venue’s carefully designed Josper charcoal ovens. The smoky sweetness of the charcoal, set at a temperature of 350°C creates a hint of crispiness and perfectly sears the soft flesh, releasing the deep, earthy flavors for each guest to enjoy.

  • Roberta’s

An award-winning glasshouse restaurant and bar located in the heart of the iconic and bustling district of Temple Bar. The head chef has put together a delicious New-York Italian inspired menu, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. All dishes are cooked using the best of Irish ingredients.

  • Toscana City Centre

Enjoy an earthy and intimate dining experience with a warm friendly atmosphere in the heart of Dublin, where the food is all about the ingredients we grow at the family’s farmhouse.

  • Kennedy’s Pub

A legendary gem nestled in the heart of Dublin, situated near Trinity College, this pub offers an unparalleled experience with its traditional Irish stews, creamy pints of stout and a beautiful marble bar.
