Here is how you can shepherd a law from concept to reality!

Lawyers advocate for clients, but do they know how to advocate for changes in the law that impact their clients?

Even if you think you know how laws are made, this program will give you real insights into the non-traditional ways that lawyers can advocate for change outside the courtroom.

Consider this a boot camp that covers legislation from drafting to signing. Learn how the concept of legislation is formed, how a bill moves through the legislative or regulatory process, and the impact you can have in bringing a law to fruition.

You’ll further gain an understanding of how the process informs legislative intent, which ultimately leads to legal interpretation, and study recent decisions discussing legislative intent and its impact on the law.
