Association offers comments on municipal court practice proposals

NEW BRUNSWICK – The New Jersey State Bar Association provided comments that would affect municipal court practitioners.
   
The NJSBA comments on the Supplemental Report of the Supreme Court Committee on Municipal Court Practice supported a uniform adjournment policy among municipal courts, and expressed concerns about the type of information to be shared for a waiver of first appearance, as well as additional obligations placed on attorneys by proposed amendments to R.7:6-1.
