New members: The New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board
of Trustees welcomed its incoming members.
The new trustees are: Kathleen Barnett Einhorn, Carlos A.
Bollar and Celeste Fiore, who will serve as at-large trustees; Scott R. Malyk,
who will serve as a section/committee trustee; and Norberto Garcia, who will
represent the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.
Farewell to Hille: The meeting marked the last official
meeting for Robert B. Hille, the outgoing immediate past president. Hille said
his time working with the association’s governing body was an honor and a
privilege. “We are best and we do many great things together when we keep our
focus on our members and the lawyers of this great state,” Hille said.
New member benefit: The trustees voted to approve
Smith.ai, a virtual receptionist service, as a new member benefit. NJSBA
members will receive a discount when they use the service, which provides
bilingual receptionists, live web chats, client intake and appointment
bookings, at a discount.
2020 Mid-Year Meeting: The trustees agreed to hold the
2020 Mid-Year Meeting at the Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa, Calif. The
meeting will be held Oct 25-30.
