Associate Attorney — Consumer Bankruptcy & Debt Resolution
Lucid Law Bankruptcy Attorneys | Bridgewater, NJ | Full-Time
Lucid Law is a consumer bankruptcy and debt resolution firm in Bridgewater, NJ seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong balance of Chapter 7 practice and out-of-court debt workout experience.
You’ll Handle
• Chapter 7 cases from intake through discharge, including client counseling and 341 meetings
• Rule 2004 Subpoenas
• Out-of-court debt settlement negotiations
• Some litigation
• Direct communication with clients, creditors, and trustees
Requirements
• JD from accredited U.S. law school; active NJ license; certificate of good standing required prior to hiring
• 2–10 years of experience, ideally at a small-to-midsized bankruptcy or creditors’ rights firm
• Comfortable explaining things to clients in plain English, not legalese
• Organized, diligent, and able to work autonomously
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
• Within ~50 minutes commute of Bridgewater, NJ 08807 (no relocation)
Nice to Have
• Tax negotiation experience
• Consumer Fraud Act experience
• NextChapter or Clio Manage familiarity
• Immediate availability
Compensation & Benefits
• $75,000–$120,000 base + bonus eligibility.
