Admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, Mr. Szyba serves on the Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He has been Co-Chair of the Ethics & Professional Responsibility Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Section’s Employment Rights & Responsibilities Committee.
Mr. Szyba has served on the Alumni Advisory Board of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and as a member of the Sidney Reitman Employment Law American Inn of Court. He is a former Editor-in-Chief of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s New Jersey Labor & Employment Law Quarterly and has lectured for ICLE, NELA-NJ, the American and New York State Bar Associations, and other organizations.
Mr. Szyba received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Berklee College of Music and his J.D., cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and a member of Hofstra’s Moot Court Association.

Mr. Jones received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University, his Masters in Public Administration from Seton Hal University and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the Eagleton Institute of Politics Governor’s Executive Fellowship. He is a past president of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM), a member of the Justice Marie Garibaldi American Inn of Court for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a member of several other professional and community organizations. Mr. Matez was a founding member of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law American Inn of Court and served on the organization’s Executive Committee from 1997-2009 and was most recently a Master Emeritus. In 2018 Bruce was the recipient of the Honorable Joseph M. Nardi, Jr. Award from the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law AIC which recognized him for his commitment to the practice of law, encouraging and exemplifying civility, humility, compassion, and a moral/ethical obligation to the welfare of children and families. He lectures and teaches courses on Family Law topics, mediation, and parenting coordination for NJICLE, the NJAPM, county bar associations, and teaches Divorce and Family Law Mediation at Rutgers Law School in Camden. In 2022 he was the recipient of the Richard Jeydel Award bestowed by the Justice Marie Garibaldi American Inn of Court for ADR for excellence in the field of ADR. Mr. Matez is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
