This brand-new program will discuss the lifecycle of commercial real estate ownership and the estate and business planning considerations in all phases. The first part of the program will discuss planning for start-up real estate investment companies and delve into questions about raising capital, formation, operating/shareholder agreements and financing. The second part of the program will explore planning for businesses with large commercial real estate portfolios and focus on estate taxes, capital gains tax, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts (many different types) and methods of handling mortgages. The final part of the program will focus on the end of the lifecycle for commercial real estate ownership, including business succession planning, buy-sell agreements, funding through insurance and creating an actual business succession plan.

If you are an estate planning or business attorney, this is an essential seminar!
