Not only is the state rife with top-tier professional athletic programs, but there is also a wealth of musicians, actors and artists who call New Jersey home. However, with success comes a great need for sound legal advice from a trusted counselor.
Many of these athletes and entertainers are newly-minted millionaires and some are quite young. Think about it – Taylor Swift was 16 when she started to make money. Gaten Matazzaro from Little Egg Harbor was only 13 when he starred in Season 1 of “Stranger Things.” Further, with the advent of NIL, some athletes as young as 18 go from challenging financial backgrounds to making millions.
Whether an athlete is a young star or an established veteran, they need much more from their lawyer than a well-drafting recording contract to protect them long-term.
