The recent Los Angeles wildfires brought national attention to the devastating consequences of natural disasters on wildlife, domestic animals, and animal rescues alike. From the Australian wildfires to the Mount St. Helens eruption, panelists will provide an overview of the historical impacts of such disasters upon animals. This will include discussion on the ethical obligations of animal protection, limitations of current laws, and steps that can be taken to mitigate the increasingly adverse effects of natural and human-made disasters on the animal population.

If you represent anyone who is responsible for pets or livestock – including homeowners, landlords and business owners – you won’t want to miss this important presentation.
