The Impact of Climate Change Policy and Legislation on Utility Depreciation Expense
States are continuing to enact legislation and promote other initiatives to address the impact of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For example, several states have established targets for reductions in economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions. These state policies could impact utility operations and, specifically, impact how depreciation expense is determined. Led by Ned Allis, Vice President, Gannet Fleming, this presentation will review recent climate change policy and legislative actions and the potential impact on utility depreciation expense.
Please note breakfast, provided by Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, will be served at 9:00a.m. The program will begin at 9:30a.m.
