The New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell is the state’s one-stop shop for cybersecurity information sharing, threat intelligence, and incident reporting. Acting in a cyber fusion center capacity, the NJCCIC is a component organization within the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. The NJCCIC works to make New Jersey more resilient to cyberattacks by promoting statewide awareness of cyber threats and widespread adoption of best practices.
Join Krista Valenzuela, the Bureau Chief, Cyber Threat Outreach and Partnerships with the NJCCIC, along with a panel of experienced lawyers and technology professionals. as they present this practical program on how to prevent profit-motivated cybercrime.
As the use of AI expands, the opportunities for cyber criminals are also proliferating. This presentation will provide attendees with an overview of the different types of profit-motivated cybercrime targeting New Jersey organizations including, but not limited to, ransomware, business email compromise, social engineering, unauthorized access, and the tactics and techniques used in these incidents. The speakers will provide attendees with best practices and strategies to prevent and recover from these cyberattacks. They will also answer your questions.
The seminar begins with a keynote address from Krista Valenzuela, who will provide insights from her unique vantage point as a bureau chief with the NJCCIC.
