Your MCLE Requirements
Your New Jersey Attorney MCLE Requirements
As a New Jersey attorney, you must earn the following CLE credits every two years:
- 24 total credits
- 5 ethics credits - Including at least 2 in diversity, inclusion & elimination of bias (BCLE Reg. 201:1).
- 12 credits must be from in-person or live interactive courses
Your birth month determines your compliance group.
Group 1 (Jan. 1 - June 30 birthdays) completes credits in odd years but certifies in even years.
Group 2 (July 1 - Dec. 31 birthdays) completes credits in even years but certifies in odd years.
