NJSBA Responds to Supreme Court Determination on Attorney Disbarment

The NJSBA applauds the state Supreme Court for establishing a narrow but fair pathway back to the law for some disbarred attorneys. The Court’s directive brings New Jersey in line with 41 other states and Washington D.C. that allow readmission and provides appropriate guardrails that protect the public, while continuing to hold attorneys to the highest ethical standards.
