New Jersey’s farming and agricultural sector operates within a complex web of legal protections and tax implications that attorneys representing farm owners, agricultural businesses or municipalities, must be prepared to navigate with confidence. This comprehensive seminar brings together practitioners and agency representatives on the front lines of farming and agricultural law to give attendees practical, working knowledge of the issues that matter most.

Beginning with an overview of the Right to Farm Act, this esteemed panel will walk attendees through key considerations for effectively representing clients, including issues surrounding farmland assessment and farmland preservation.

Designed for attorneys in real estate who advise farm owners, agricultural businesses or municipalities in New Jersey’s rural communities, this program will leave attendees with tools that they can immediately put into practice.
