NJSBA Seeks Volunteers for Non-Partisan Voter Representation on Election Day

The NJSBA is seeking volunteer attorneys to provide non-partisan representation to voters who are turned away from the polls and need to appear before a judge for an order allowing them to vote. The NJSBA project is focusing on four counties where judicial hearings will be held exclusively in person: Camden, Essex, Monmouth and Morris. This will require volunteer attorneys to be present on-site at the county courthouse for some part of Election Day. Volunteer attorneys will need to attend a virtual training session, scheduled for this Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.. The training will be recorded for subsequent viewing by anyone unable to attend the original date. Please complete this form to volunteer.
