ATLANTIC CITY: A
former New Jersey State Bar Association trustee was sworn in as the
organization’s treasurer last night.
Domenick Carmagnola, whose firm is in Morristown, is on
track to become president of the state’s leading group for lawyers, judges and
legal professionals in 2021
Carmagnola is a certified civil trial attorney, and concentrates his practice in the
areas of labor and employment law, representing management and individual
defendants in both the private and public sector. He has written numerous
articles, contributed to several books, and is a frequent lecturer on labor and
employment law matters and litigation.
Carmagnola said it was an honor to join the leadership of an
organization that has provided him so many opportunities.
“I am grateful for the many tremendous benefits and
opportunities the NJSBA has provided to me during my legal career, and for the
friendships I have established through it. I look forward to working with the
trustees and Executive Committee as we promote the association’s
mission and continue its efforts to enhance the practice of law and work
to further the interests of our members,” he said
His
involvement in the NJSBA is extensive.
He is a former trustee of the New Jersey State Bar
Association, a past chair of its Labor and Employment Law Section and editor of
the section’s newsletter. In addition to his NJSBA involvement, he is a former
president of the Essex County Bar Association and the Sidney Reitman Labor and Employment Law American Inn of
Court.
He
lives in Denville with his wife, Gabriella, and two sons, Christopher and
Michael.
