Job Description:

Assistant Corporation Counsel – Hoboken, Hudson County- seeking a full-time in person attorney to fill the position of Assistant Corporation Counsel, in the office of Corporation Counsel, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken. Requires at least two years of prior legal experience. Duties include but are not limited to drafting and reviewing ordinances and resolutions; drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts; performing legal research; acting as an assistant municipal prosecutor; addressing employee disciplinary matters; and providing legal advice and guidance to the City on various issues. Seeking candidates that are hardworking, detail oriented, and who possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
