Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”) is medical coverage included in your automobile insurance policy that provides reimbursement for necessary medical expenses related to an automobile injury. New Jersey is a “no fault’ state, which means regardless of fault, medical treatment is paid for by the injured party’s own automobile insurance carrier’s PIP Benefits. When a client who has been injured in an automobile accident comes into your office, you need to know what relief is available to them, where to file for relief and the proper procedure for having your claim heard.

Join us for a morning packed with information and take home a manual for your legal library that will guide you in your PIP practice.

Register today for this replay to confidently expand your practice by learning how to handle a PIP case or pick up new tips and strategies and fine tune your skills!

Topics include:

  • Personal Injury Claim or Auto Injury Claim Under PIP: Understanding the Difference - Jeffrey A. Rizika, Esq.
  • An Overview of PIP Rules and the Arbitration Process - Mark T. Connell, Esq.
  • How to Handle Your First Arbitration: The Claimant’s Perspective - Daniel Lleonart, Esq.
