Join NJICLE and NJSBA for a discussion about diversity, allyship and the elimination of bias on a riverboat cruise sailing from Brielle, NJ.
This unique program begins with a seminar to promote awareness and education on diversity, allyship and elimination of bias that will facilitate a discussion from multiple perspectives and provide strategies to combat racism, sexism and bias.
Join the panel on the River Queen as they speak about being a proactive ally to fellow lawyers in a time of social and racial injustice and unrest, how to recognize and combat implicit bias and racism and instead support, promote and defend one another. This will be an open discussion among panel members, with questions directed to each panelist to facilitate discussion. Topics will include perspectives from women and diverse members of the bar and specific strategies to combat bias, racism and sexism especially in the context of current events.
After the seminar, attendees can Network with colleagues to continue the discussion while enjoying the beautiful scenery and the rest of the cruise. The cruise includes a luncheon and open bar.
