- Rebecca Frino, Esq.
- Mandelbaum Barrett, P.C., Roselandis Counsel to Mandelbaum Barrett P.C. in the firm’s Roseland, New Jersey, office, where she devotes her practice exclusively to family law matters including alimony, equitable distribution, child custody, pre-nuptial agreements and domestic violence.
Ms. Frino is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. She is a member of the New Jersey State and Morris County Bar Associations, and regularly discusses divorce matters on the podcast The Divorce Hour with Illyssa Panitz.
Ms. Frino received her B.S. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall School of Law. While attending Seton Hall Law School, she participated in the Center for Social Justice Civil Litigation Clinic, where she represented clients in landlord-tenant and complex education litigation matters. Ms. Frino was a member of the Seton Hall Interscholastic Moot Court Board and competed in several competitions across the country on constitutional law, health law and juvenile law issues. She served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Critchley, Chancery Division, Family Part, in Morris County.

- Mollie Hartman Lustig, Esq.
- Secretary, Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Special Committee, NJSBA, McLaughlin & Stern, Westfieldis a Partner in McLaughlin & Stern, LLP in Clark, New Jersey, and New York City, and is Chair of the Cannabis Practice Group. She has a comprehensive understanding of the existing laws and regulations governing cannabis cultivation, sale, use and legalization; practices traditional civil law with a focus in labor and employment issues for governmental entities; and represents clients in family law matters.
Ms. Hartman Lustig is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Massachusetts, and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the District of Massachusetts. Secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Cannabis Law Special Committee (CLSC), she has been a member of the Committee since 2017, co-chairs the CLSC’s Social Justice and Equity Subcommittee and sits on the Municipal and Land Use Subcommittee. She is an instructor at Rutgers Law School, has lectured for ICLE and is the recipient of several honors.
Ms. Hartman Lustig received her B.A. from the University of Rochester and her J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, where she served as a Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney for the Suffolk University Legal Services and completed a concentration in Civil Litigation. She clerked for the Honorable Claude M. Coleman, J.S.C. and the Honorable Craig R. Harris, J.S.C., Essex County Superior Court, where she served as a Court-Certified Mediator in child custody and parenting cases.

- Ayre Counseling, LLC, Morrristowna Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), is Executive Director of Ayre Counseling, LLC in Morristown, New Jersey, and has 30 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, parents and families. He is a recognized expert in co-occurring disorders, treatment and alternative Substance Use Disorders (SUD) treatment approaches. Dr. Ayre is the former Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Development Officer of a large, nationally-known substance abuse rehabilitation system. He has developed and managed all levels of substance abuse and co-occurring care ranging from detoxification and residential treatment through outpatient and sober living.
Dr. Ayre has published numerous articles and papers and has lectured at both statewide and national events. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a professor at both Rutgers University School of Social Work and Rutgers University Center of Alcohol Studies. He is also the founder of Launch Psychological, a premium service for professional athletes, young adults and career-driven professionals aspiring to peak performance and greater well-being.
Dr. Ayre received his B.S. from Towson University, his MSW from Fordham University, completed his Doctoral Studies in Clinical Social Work at Rutgers University and received his Doctorate in Addictive Disorders from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Addictive Disorders, Breining College.

- Ross & Calandrillo, LLC, MountainsideCertified as a Matrimonial Law Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, is a founder of Ross & Calandrillo, LLC in Mountainside, New Jersey, where she practices exclusively in family law. She is also an approved family law mediator pursuant to the New Jersey Court Rule.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Ms. Ross is a member of the New Jersey State and Union County Bar Associations, and is Past Co-Chair of the Essex County Bar Association’s Family Law Executive Committee. She is a trained volunteer for the Jersey Battered Women’s Service, has served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character and is a former member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District XB Ethics Committee. She has provided service to the Early Settlement Panel programs in Essex and Morris counties and is the recipient of several honors.

Although recreational marijuana is legal in New Jersey, warring parents may still raise a parties' cannabis use in divorce/custody/parenting time proceedings.
Should courts take away custody or parenting time if a parent is a frequent marijuana user? What level of impairment would be needed for courts to restrict a parent's access to their child? Is smoking a single joint or popping a gummy the same as having a drink? Should family courts treat a parent who occasionally uses marijuana differently from a parent who has the occasional drink? Does it make a difference if the parent is a medical marijuana user?
