2022 By The Numbers

A year of advocacy, collaboration and leadership
The New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and New Jersey State Bar Foundation all have a fundamental mission—to improve the legal profession and advance the rule of law.
  
Those goals are fostered in many ways: educating attorneys about the latest trends and issues in the profession; connecting attorneys; helping the public and educators understand their rights and the law; and advocating in the courts and with politicians in Trenton to make lasting change. 
   
Here’s a look at all that was accomplished in 2022.

DOLLARS AWARDED IN FUNDING FROM THE FOUNDATION to 26 nonprofit organizations to underwrite law-related programs for the public.

COPIES OF FOUNDATION PUBLICATIONS were distributed to schools.

CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION CREDITS were issued to attorneys from NJICLE.

DOLLARS WERE AWARDED to 13 second- and third-year law school students in scholarships from the Foundation.

MEALS WERE DONATED thanks to generous contributions from NJSBA members to Lawyers Feeding New Jersey, an ongoing campaign to support Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
