Going Viral, Getting Noticed, and Crossing the Ethical Line

Lawyers are becoming influencers, turning TikTok videos, LinkedIn posts, podcasts, and online commentary into powerful platforms for visibility, influence, and business development. But when does building a personal brand cross the line into professional misconduct?

From paid endorsements and viral legal advice to controversial posts and online reputational disasters, the lawyer-influencer phenomenon is creating new ethical challenges. Join a dynamic panel of New Jersey lawyers, including a practicing legal content creator, for a provocative look at what happens when the pursuit of followers, fame, and influence collides with professional responsibility.

12:35–1:05 | Legal Advice or Entertainment? When Online Content Creates Professional Obligations (30 minutes)
